Description
|
The combination of lamivudine and zidovudine is used to treat HIV. It belongs to the class NRTIs (called nucleoside reverse transcriptase inhibitors).
Take this medication exactly as explained by your health care professional. It comes in the form of tablet to be taken by mouth and swallow with a glass of water.
If you miss a dose, take it as soon as you can. If it is almost time for your next dose, take only that dose. Do not take double or extra doses.
Keep all appointments with your doctor and keep your doctor informed of any other medication that you may be taking or planning to take and if your going for any kind of surgery.
You should see your doctor regularly for monitoring and tests.
